As a former world-class competitive sprinter and busy mother of four, Samantha believes that a slow, steady and sustained approach to fitness, in the long run, gets truly lasting results. “You realize life is not a race,” she says. “Life is about longevity and feeling good.”
Before coming to Herbalife, Samantha would often skip meals to keep up with her busy schedule. While working with the company as a fitness consultant for over a year, Samantha fell in love with the Herbalife24 Formula 1 Sport shake and it became her daily breakfast. She was already in great shape, but much to her surprise, she lost weight.
Samantha currently teaches Independent Herbalife Members how to incorporate correct exercise progressions and regressions into their group fitness activities so that exercises are appropriate for all levels, and says working with Members inspires her. “The energy of the Members got me,” she explains after presenting at an Herbalife event in Los Angeles. “I think it was the first time in my life I didn’t feel guilty for being so excitable and happy. I have never experienced such excitement when teaching outside of Herbalife.” Samantha discovered that same enthusiasm listening to Herbalife’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Michael O. Johnson speak at an employee meeting. It inspired her to help her colleagues achieve even greater success as a team, as well as individually. “Everyone is like me,” she says about becoming part of the Herbalife family. “They’re happy and excited to help people. Everyone has the same focus.”
When not working with Members, Samantha also enjoys working out with other Herbalife staff and showing them how to get an effective workout in just 20 minutes, so they can stay fit and still have time to eat lunch. She’s thrilled to be able to help her fellow employees set goals and build better bodies from within. While she loves getting to know her coworkers through these informal group workouts, Samantha looks forward to piloting her fitness programs for Members with her fellow employees. “Our company stands for a healthy, active life, and those three words represent who I am as a person!” Samantha shares, “I’m most excited about getting people moving.”

- As a competitor in world-class athletic competitions, her personal records include an 11.40 in the 100m and 23.02 in the 200m.
